Community Guidelines

Respect is the minimum standard.

Clear conduct rules help every Novia member know what belongs in a live introduction, a message, and a profile.

What to know

Be truthful about who you are and why you are here. Respect a no, leave space for the other person to end a conversation, and never use Novia to intimidate, exploit, or pressure another member.

Conduct that can lead to removal

Harassment, hate speech, nudity, coercion, threats, stalking, impersonation, scams, solicitation, recording without consent, and attempts to bypass safety controls are prohibited.

Practical next steps

  • Use accurate profile information and your own photos.
  • Keep live introductions clothed and respectful.
  • Accept boundaries without arguing or trying to contact someone elsewhere.

Need urgent help?

Leave the interaction first. Report when you are ready.

If a live introduction feels unsafe, use the in-product exit control immediately. For safety concerns outside the app, contact local emergency services first, then notify Novia support with the relevant account and session details.
